From six applications for the Frank Carver Bursary Award, two young scientists will be awarded cash prizes of  £1000 each to undertake travel to the 28th IPS, plus free registration, to present their papers.  The first winner, Ms Queenie Kwok will present her paper Characterization of Passivated Aluminium Nanopowders.  The second winner, Ms Tracy Vine will present her paper Application of Physical Vapour Deposition to the Manufacture of Pyrotechnics.
